Transit World Service B.V. is a global operating freight forwarder with a high service level and an attractive pricing policy. Our staff is highly motivated and with branch offices in London, Hamburg and Tema (Ghana) the service is hands on.
TWS is specialized in container cargoes to West Africa and is market leader in Ghana. Also cross shipments from other parts of the world to West Africacan be offered. We can offer container loadings through whole Europe and have them dispatched to any destination you want.
Our head office is in Rotterdam from where most transportation is arranged. From our own premises in Hamburg, customers can load their containers and have them dispatched by TWS to Ghana or any other destination. We can also offer loading places near Amsterdam and London. Due to our big market share to Ghana, TWS is also preferred supplier for the container transport for big exporting companies. All incoming cargoes in Ghana and documentation for customers can be handled by the branch office in the port of Tema in Ghana.

Before loading your container please read below general rules and publications to check with which conditions you have to comply:
All electrical goods need to be functional and declared as re-use and should be accompanied by a test report
Fridges have to be free of FCKW
Tires must be undamaged, tread depth must be minimum 1,6mm
Tripled, Quadruple tires are not allowed to be exported and will be declared as waste
All cargo must be stowed in a proper way
Loose Ballast in the container is automatically classified as waste
Car parts containing Liquid are automatically classified as dangerous goods
ll fuel mustbe drained out of the parts.
carbatteries must be disconnected
All items must be packed in a sufficient way to make sure goods will arrive in sound condition
